What is in the Bol finance data
Marktspan syncs Bol invoices and their specifications from the Retailer API, removes subtotal rows, and classifies every line, so the assistant gets clean transactions instead of raw PDFs.
- Section per line: sales, returns, or cost — with revenue sign-normalized to positive.
- Cost group: commission, fulfillment (LVB pick & pack), shipping, advertising, returns handling, or other.
- Order reference and EAN on every line, so charges tie back to a specific order and product.
- Net excl. VAT, VAT, and gross incl. VAT, with VAT rates resolved per product and country.
Questions finance teams ask
The assistant filters lines by EAN, order, or subject and summarizes them. For period totals it switches to the governed P&L metrics, so sums match the report.

Governed by role

Finance lines feed the Marktspan P&L. The assistant reads the same cleaned data, so the chat answer and the report do not drift apart.
